REPORT TO COMMUNITY 2019
The first Go Goldfields REPORT TO COMMUNITY will be distributed across the Central Goldfields Shire this week. The report has been co-designed with a small community reference group made up of business members, young people, and partnership representatives. A report will be delivered to every residential letterbox across the Shire. This mid-year report is a check in with our local community about what we are doing as we work together towards achieving the vision of; Our community aspiring, achieving and living a full life.

DATA PARTIES 2019
We gathered our Collaborative Partners and community representatives to participate in our annual Data Parties in July 2019. These data focussed workshops are a great way for us to check-in on the work that we do. We examine data from local, State and Australia-wide reports relating to our key work areas of Children & Families, Youth, Family Safety and Economic Participation, then review our targets around the statistics that this community seeks to change.
This is an important opportunity for the 100+ industry representatives who contribute to the work of Go Goldfields to develop what they know about data, and how we can use data to better show what we are doing, and why. The workshops were co-designed and facilitated by our consultants at Clear Horizon, leaders in facilitating data culture development and Seer Data & Analytics. The results of these workshops will help us to create new ‘Data Dashboards’ for each of our Impact Areas. Data Dashboards are easy to read graphs that show existing statistics that relate to the work, and the shifts in these.
