Every Child, Every Chance (ECEC) is the new Go Goldfields’ initiative bringing our community together to ensure that children in the Central Goldfields Shire are safe, healthy, and confident.
Thank you to the many parents and carers of children aged 0-8 years, interested community members and children who recently contributed to our comprehensive community engagement program that included surveys, forums, phone interviews, shopping centre chats and school visits.
Drop into the new Go Goldfields HQ and chat with our friendly staff and collaborators.
At the corner of Alma and Nolan Streets, Maryborough, Vic (next to the library).
Tuesdays to Thursdays 10am – 3pm
Come along to hear what our community said about parenting and ideas for how we can make it easier!
Roundtable event date to be announced.
Our Research & Engagement Report and Conversations Summary Report will be released to the community in the coming months.
Go Goldfields Backbone staff and ECEC Priority Partnership members will co-design a ‘Change Plan’ with members of our community that will advance the ECEC aspirations to improve outcomes for children aged 0-8 years.
Go Goldfields places great value on incorporating the ideas and experiences of all citizens in the Central Goldfields region into the engagement. We invite everyone to play an important role in co-designing this transformative community effort.
A comprehensive Community Engagement program will take place over the next month to inform the Change Plan. The engagement will include a surveys, interviews, chats, round table discussions and a children’s art project through schools.
The NEST parents group is held in our Go Goldfields HQ,
Nurture & Learning Room, (next to the library) on the corner of Alma and Nolan Streets, Maryborough.
