In war there is always an enemy, although sometimes humanity prevails, Friend or Foe.
I wanted to take part in this year’s Short Flix Festival because I wanted to expand my skills in filming and acting. I started making movies when I was 9 years old as I really enjoyed it. I like to see people’s reactions while watching my movie and getting their input on what I can do to improve them for the future.
I have a very strong interest in the history of the wars that Australians have fought in. This year I marched in a full world war one uniform on ANZAC day with our local Vietnam Veterans. I then was invited to stand on the steps of the Shrine of Remembrance in uniform at the dawn service.
I chose to be a part of the Short Flix because I have always enjoyed acting and directing movies and thought it may give me some skills with making movies in the future. I have learnt
a lot from my experience with Short Flix and would recommend doing this to anyone who likes making or directing movies.
